Supporting Growth Through Smarter Outreach

An Introduction

Established in the early 2000s, this UK-based fitness equipment rental specialist has built its reputation on making premium gym equipment more accessible through flexible hire solutions.

Working with health clubs, gyms and fitness operators across the UK and Ireland, the company enables businesses to access high-quality commercial fitness equipment without the significant upfront capital investment associated with purchasing outright. Their flexible rental model allows organisations to scale their offering, trial new equipment and respond to changing member demands while maintaining greater financial flexibility.

By providing tailored equipment hire solutions, the business has become a trusted partner for fitness operators looking to enhance their facilities, expand their services and improve the overall member experience.

The Challenge

The client was looking to generate new business opportunities within the commercial fitness market but faced limitations with their existing internal infrastructure and outbound capabilities. They required a fully managed solution that not only provided highly targeted data but also ensured strong email deliverability and campaign performance.

As the campaign would be running over an extended period, maintaining sender reputation and maximising inbox placement were critical to achieving consistent engagement and generating quality conversations with key decision-makers across the health and fitness sector.

The Solution

We delivered a fully managed outbound email solution, combining our Health & Fitness data with the complete setup and management of the client's campaigns.

This included implementing dedicated sending infrastructure, branded domains, mailbox configuration and key authentication protocols such as SPF, DKIM and DMARC to maximise deliverability. We also warmed three email accounts and utilised AI-driven sending patterns to replicate natural sending behaviour.

Starting at the end of 2025, we deployed a seven-email sequence over a six-month period. All email content was written by our team, reviewed with the client and enhanced using content variations to improve inbox placement and engagement.

Throughout the campaign, performance was continuously monitored and optimised, with messaging refined where necessary. By managing the outreach process end-to-end, we enabled the client to focus on other priorities while we generated warm, interested prospects ready for them to nurture.

The Results

Over the six-month campaign period, a carefully selected segment of independent gym and fitness prospects were engaged through a seven-touch email sequence, with larger national chain operators intentionally excluded from the campaign targeting. This activity generated a number of positive and interested responses from businesses operating within the health and fitness sector.

The initial account warm-up process enabled three mailboxes to gradually scale to a combined sending capacity of up to 150 emails per day, creating a sustainable outreach framework while maintaining strong sender reputation and inbox placement.

Through ongoing monitoring, content optimisation and deliverability management, the campaign generated a consistent pipeline of opportunities, resulting in multiple positive conversations.

In Conclusion

This campaign demonstrates the value of combining high-quality data with a fully managed outbound strategy and robust technical infrastructure. By implementing a carefully structured email sequence, continuously optimising performance and maintaining strong deliverability practices, we were able to generate meaningful engagement and create new business opportunities within a highly targeted market.

The project highlights how a strategic, data-led approach to email outreach can help businesses connect with relevant decision-makers, generate qualified opportunities and support long-term business growth.
